Derby Public Library hosts a variety of ongoing Teen Programs.
All of them are intended for patrons ages 12 -17.

Teen Advisory Board
Wednesdays, Feb 28th (3:30 – 4:30 PM)
A relaxed forum for Young Adults to voice ideas for
teen programs, materials, resources at the library
and exploring ways to help the community.
Light snacks provided – no registration needed.

 

 

YA Wednesdays: TEEN GAME TIME
Wednesday, March/April TBA  (6 PM – 7:30 PM)
Young adults can enjoy playing tabletop and laptop games
Plus PS4 / Wii video games and fun creative activities.
Light snacks will be provided. No registration needed.

Can’t sleep? Then seize the opportunity to join us for some important, award-winning graphic novel reading & showing of selections that teens & above should know… & certainly will appreciate! Subsequent chapters will be available every 2 weeks (& once posted, you won’t have to wait till midnight to view it.)  


Virtual Teen Classic Graphic Novel Reading – Temporarily Suspended

All young adults, ages 12 to 17, are invited to virtual gatherings for the reading/showing of Classic Graphic Novels. These are important, award-winning selections that all teens should know and appreciate. Registration is required.  Zoom access links will be provided via email (3) days prior to meeting dates.
