If you reside in a CT town other than Derby, please contact your hometown public library for assistance.

**********************************************************************************************

Derby residents, including adults and children ages 3+ may obtain a free library card from us with proof of Derby residence. Children between the ages of 3-11 must have their cards signed by a parent or guardian. Patrons must use their own library card when checking out materials, using the public computers or accessing our online databases remotely. While your Derby Public Library card is good at any other CT Library, please be sure to check with other libraries about their specific policies/hours. There is a $1.00 replacement fee for lost cards.

Connecticut residents with a valid library card from their hometown library may borrow Derby Public Library materials or use our public computers. Library card holders may also access some of our online databases remotely by using their library card ID. Please contact the Library at dplreference@biblio.org or (203) 736-1482 for more details.
