Congratulations, Robert Holt!
Winner of the Derby Public Library 2013 Scholarship prize is Derby High School graduate Robert Holt.
From preschool through middle school and high school, the memories he shared in his essay truly illustrated
the impact that libraries have had on his life. As President of his Senior Class, Co-President of Derby High
School Rotary Club, Board of Education Student Representative, member of the Track Team, and President
of the Valley United Way Youth Leadership, Robert has already contributed much to his community. He plans
to attend Southern Connecticut State University in the fall where he will major in Nursing.
We wish you continued success!
